It takes long afternoon practices, tryouts, and hard work to put together a great team.
Of the 20 girls that attended the first meeting and tryouts, only 13 girls made the final cut.
Although the season has just started for the West Hempstead Girls Basketball Team, they started off strong.
On November 28th they had their first win of the season, beating Herricks High School 43-31.
When our girls work together they make for a great basketball team. We know they will have a successful season. Check out the schedule and come watch our Lady Rams.
