Netflix has everybody thinking…what would YOU do for love?

You is streaming now on Netflix. It is a thriller enjoyed by many of Netflix’s users. Starring Penn Badgley as the main character, Joe Goldberg. A young bookstore manager with a strong passion for love. Every season, he never fails to disappoint in his womanizer endeavors. With the new season comes new additions to the cast such as Tati Gabrielle, Dylan Arnold, and Shalita Grant. The new season has everyone stoked!

Leaving season 2 with Joe Goldberg as a newlywed, marrying pregnant Love Quinn, and moving into Madre Linda. Your typical nice suburban neighborhood in California. Love Quinn has many questioning if their partner's love is enough. For love and the safety of their marriage, she decides to take care of a little threat that lives next door. This led the couple to seek therapy. Therapy helped, but it occurred again and again. Joe Goldberg was tired and found himself beginning to feel for someone else. Love Quinn was no longer his priority, it now shifted to another woman he met at the bookstore. He tried his best to keep his marriage stable until the day he dreamed of came where Love Quinn would no longer form part of the equation so he and Marienne could live happily together with their children. Joe Goldberg also discovers he has “mommy issues” , and that's why he is attracted to certain people. Unfortunately for Joe, Love is just as smart as him, and she finds out what has been going on in Joe’s mind. At the end of the season we find out Joe was able to outsmart Love, however, we still have more to see in the next season to air, only on Netflix. 

YOU is a great show, however, it does get graphic, so if one is sensitive to graphic content the show may not be enjoyable. Not appropriate for young children, this show has mature content. It is very intense, and the show takes turns quickly. An open mind is necessary in order to understand Joe Goldberg’s thinking, and not just dismiss him as lunatic and sick. Definitely one of Netflix's top projects, this show has made an appearance across social media platforms with memes and people speaking on the show. Netflix did not go wrong with this one. 

Who is Bad Bunny?

 Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, mostly known as Bad Bunny or El Conejo Malo, helped bring reggaeton and trap music to a wider audience. His urban music style also incorporated other genres, including rock, punk, and soul, born in Almirante Sur, Puerto Rico on March 10, 1994. Bad Bunny is one of the biggest stars in the world right now. Ever since the singer and rapper first started releasing music in 2016, he’s dominated the charts and stolen hearts worldwide. 

 His dad was a truck driver and his mother was a school teacher. He named himself Bad Bunny after a time when he was made to wear a bunny costume to school as a child and was photographed looking angry and upset.  Bunny makes history as the artist with the most entries since the chart began in 1986, with 117. Out of those, 44 hit the top 10, and nine topped the chart. “Dakiti” has led for a total of 27 weeks, the fourth-longest after “Despacito” (56 weeks), “Bailando”  and “El Perdón”. “Te Bote” by Casper Magico, Nio Garcia, Darell, Nicky Jam, Ozuna, and Bad Bunny hit No. 1 on May 26, 2018.

What’s So Good About CRIMINAL MINDS?

The show Criminal Minds is an American crime drama series on the CBS Network that premiered on September 22, 2005, and ended on February 19, 2020. It was produced by Mark Gordon in association with CBS Television Studios and ABC Studios. The series follows a group of criminal profilers who work for the FBI as members of the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) In Quantico, Virginia, It’s a police procedural drama that differs from many procedural dramas by focusing on the victims and the criminal rather than the crime itself.  The BAU analyzes the country's most twisted criminal minds in an effort to anticipate their next moves before they strike again. Each team member brings his or her own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators motivations and identify their emotional triggers in the attempt to stop them.

     

On the show, they have good plots about the victims, main characters, and the cases themselves. They talk about murder cases, and some of the cases in the series are based on the use of actual killers and other criminals. It can get really graphic and is not suited for younger kids, it is meant for older teens and adults. It is a really great show for anyone who is interested and wants to study criminal justice, forensics, and the psychology of forensics. The characters make the series even greater, for example, Spencer Reid, he’s the main character and an SSA (Supervisory Special Agent) with the BAU on the show. He's a very unique character not just on the show, but on any series like it. He uses his individual skills to track down the unsubs, with an IQ of 187,  can read 20,000 words per minute with an eidetic memory. He is the youngest member of the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU), has three BAs and three PhDs (in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Engineering), specializing in statistics and geographic profiling, and that’s what people love about him. The characters have a story that talks about their families, mental health, their past, and their lives outside of the BAU. For example, Emily Prentiss, who worked in the BAU, faked her death, so she can protect herself and her team from a guy named Doyle, who was in a relationship with and worked with, and tried to come after her and the team.  

  

If you want to start to watch the show and learn more about it, it’s on Netflix with 15 seasons. As mentioned earlier, this show is really good for people who are into crime and forensics. If you are bored or have nothing to watch on TV during quarantine, this show will help you be less bored while staying home. Overall, the show is amazing and can be really interesting depending on the season and the episode. 

Kesha’s First Single After 4 Years

Kesha Rose Sebert was born on March 1, 1987, in Los Angeles, California.  Her mother was a single mom and struggled to make enough money to support Kesha and her brother.  However, when Kesha was 4, her mom received a songwriting contract that took them all the way to Nashville, Tennessee.  Because her mother was a songwriter, this allowed her to learn about music at a young age.      

On August 10, 2017, Kesha released her single “Praying” after 4 years of no new releases.  We remember Kesha starting her career with some very popular songs like “Tik Tok” and “We R Who We R.”  But this song was written about Kesha’s struggles, forgiveness, and strength, after being abused by her producer.  

While this song may be different from the others, It shows how powerful a song can really be.  Kesha says, “This song is about coming to feel empathy for someone else even if they hurt you or scare you. It's a song about learning to be proud of the person you are even during low moments when you feel alone. It's also about hoping everyone, even someone who hurt you can heal.”

5 Seconds of Summer Celebrate 10 Years with “The 5sos Show”!

December 3rd of 2011, four teenage boys by the names of Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings, and Michael Clifford formed the band we know today as 5 Seconds of Summer. It all started out on YouTube when the group decided to post videos of themselves covering songs by other artists. While, of course, being successful was their dream, 15, 16, and 17-year-olds Calum, Ashton, Luke, and Michael had no idea what would become of their posting. 

Louis Tomilson, from the popular boy band One Direction, discovered the group of boys online, and that discovery ended up being the start of their career. 5SOS went on to open for 1D on tour, gaining recognition and popularity. Since then, the group has gone on to release 4 albums of their own and even toured a few times as the main act. Needless to say, 5 Seconds of Summer has been on a steady incline since its debut, and they’re not finished yet!

In December of 2021, 5 Seconds of Summer celebrated its 10 year anniversary as a band. To honor such a big accomplishment, they released, “The 5sos Show”, a series of recorded podcasts by the band. In the show, they featured live performances, intel from the boys about what it's been like to be in the band, and tons of comedy skits. The best part? They posted this podcast on YouTube so it would be free and easily accessible for all members of the 5SOSFam. As if all of that wasn’t exciting enough, the band finished off their anniversary week by releasing a song. “2011” was dropped on December 3rd, 2021, exactly 10 years from the day 5sos was born. Not only was the release meaningful for both the band and the fandom, but it was also the first song they’ve released since March 27th, 2020. 

After something so big and exciting for 5SOS and the fandom, you might be wondering, what could possibly come next? Lucky for us, these 4 men are dedicated to what they do. Between their “No Shame” World Tour finally being able to happen this year, and the new album they’re going to release, any fans of 5 Seconds of Summer have a lot to look forward to. In the meantime, the band has kept fueling the fandom on social media, especially Twitter. Alternate versions of songs and music videos, as well as the band retweeting and responding to fans, have kept everyone on their toes in the best way possible. So, whether you’re new to the fandom, have been here for a while, or even don’t know them at all, give “The 5SOS Show” and “2011” some streams to say Happy Anniversary! Happy 10 years of 5SOS!

Steph Curry the Greatest 3pt Shooter Ever?

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry set the NBA all-time record for 3-pointers made with his second 3 pointer on Tuesday against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. And his list is still growing.

The former record holder Ray Allen was also in attendance to see Stephen Curry break his record. Ray Allen, a Hall of Famer who played 18 NBA seasons previously held the record at 2,973 3-pointers. He did this in 1,300 games, while Stephen Curry did it in 789 games with 2,974 3 pointers and counting. Curry has made at least one 3-pointer in every game he’s played this season for a total of 140 prior to Tuesday night. He’s shooting 40.4% from long range and averaging 5.4 made 3-pointers per game. He has hit nine 3-pointers in a game four times this season: Nov. 8 vs. Atlanta Hawks, Nov. 12 vs. Chicago Bulls, Nov. 16 vs. Brooklyn Nets and Nov. 18 vs. Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Golden State Warriors have a serious chance of going all the way this season if they keep playing like this. The Warriors are still waiting for Klay Thompson’s return following two lost seasons due to injuries. However, Golden State is 22-5 more than a quarter of the way into the 2021-22 season. Politician Bob Dole Remembered

Bob Dole died on December 5, 2021. He was 98 years old when he died. He was born in Russell, Kansas. Bob Dole fought in World War 2 and was seriously wounded in the war. This gave him a disability that left him permanently without feeling in his right hand and arm. Part of his left hand was also left numb. After the war, he ran for office in 1950 and was elected to Kansas House of Representatives. He only served for two terms. He would later run for Kansas 6th congressional district in 1960. He served from 1961 to 1969.  

   

Bob Dole would later run for the Senate to represent Kansas. He won and served from 1969 to 1996. He was the Republican leader of the Senate during the final years of his tenure including three non-consecutive years as senate majority leader. During his time in the senate he was a big disability advocate. He helped pass a landmark civil rights bill called the “Americans With Disabilities Act” in 1990. This bill was voted overwhelmingly by both parties in the federal government. This bill prohibited discrimination based on disability. 

In 1996, he ran for president. He ran for the Republican primary and won the nomination. He ran against Bill Clinton who was the incumbent. He wasn’t able to win the general election. After his presidential run, He engaged in a career of writing, consulting, public speaking, and television appearances. Bob Dole was the first defeated presidential nominee to become a political celebrity.

The New Best Team?

Paris Saint Germain is one of the best teams in the world right now. They’re the biggest team in France and are absolutely dominating the French League and the European league which includes the best teams all around Europe. This team is filled with many superstars ranging from veterans of the game to up and coming youngsters. The veterans of the game include Lionel Messi, Neymar, Di Maria, and Sergio Ramos. These Veterans have been on top of the game for about 10 years winning league cups and European cups on their past teams but now they’re all together. In addition, Messi is considered to be one of the best players of all time so he is a big reason for the team's sucesss. The Youngsters of this team include Mbappe, Nun Mendes, Donnarumma, and Xavi Simmons. Kylian Mbappe is known all over the world because of how much of a name he has already made at 22. He’s won a World Cup and broke a record for being the second most expensive player of all time with a contract worth 203 million dollars. 

In Recent years PSG has grown into a football superpower. Since the year 2013, they’ve been growing in popularity and been getting the attention of many big players making them want to make the move into their team. Despite PSG being very dominant in the French League, they’ve been very unsuccessful in the Champions League (European League). In the past 5 years, they’ve only made it to one final which was in 2020, they lost the final to Bayern Munich 1-0. They’ve also been embarrassed many times like when they lost to Barcelona 6-1 in the second game after winning 4-0 in the first game which means they lost 6-5 in Aggregate.

My predictions for this year for PSG are very positive. With all the Superstars in the team and the motivation they have, I feel like they can win everything that comes in their path. They’re already up by 12 points in the French League so they dont have to worry about that as much as the Champions league which is their major goal in 2022. So I hope to see this team lift up the trophy because they deserve it. 

Not a Red Heart or a Red Diamond but a Black Clover (One of the best animes ever)

For any anime lovers or newcomers, if you are looking for an anime that is about teamwork, building bonds, missions, going against rivals, building strength, leadership, and comedy, this might be the right anime for you! Its genre is adventure and fantasy. Black Clover is also a manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata, it began on February 16, 2015. They also made a game out of this series. The anime was released on May 2, 2017, the runtime is 27 minutes and it is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara Ayataka Tanemura and produced by Pierrot.                   The story line is about a boy named Asta who is an orphan and given to a priest in a church also with his foster brother Yuno that also was an orphan that was born with magical powers while Asta on the other hand wasn’t born without any magic power while everyone in the village has them. This motivated him to become even stronger and fight to become the next Wizard King but faced obstacles and challenges. 

     “My magic power is never giving up”, Asta is one of a kind. He always fights himself when his arm was broken and cursed by Vetto, he felt beat by, almost feeling depressed. However, his disciplined attitude pushed him to move forward and push himself to recover and fight his enemy back. His rivals, people, even some people in his group at first found him as a joke for his outgoing personality and oblivious actions. He still always finds a way to make everyone’s jaw drop. Asta has a lot of ups and downs to this series; he's a perfect example of anyone that struggles with overcoming battles or conflict. He has a great soul at the end of the day, he tries to find a way to fight against evil for justice and tries to work his way to the top to be the beast and become the next Wizard King!

 You can find his amazing anime on any streaming online website like Hulu, Amazon Prime, AnimeLab, Crunchyroll, Funimation, or even Cartoon Network on Adult Swim! So if you are looking for an inspiring, funny, heartwarming, gasping anime to binge-watch during the weekend, vacation, summer, or even before you go to sleep (which is not the best idea because you may never sleep again!) this one is for you!

     

Where Is The Future Of Virtual Reality Headed?

Virtual Reality, what is it? A simple definition would be a Virtual reality created by a computer. However, it is not as simple as it sounds. Virtual reality (VR) is a 3 Dimensional, computer-generated environment. VR is currently being used for entertainment and business needs. For example, some companies use virtual reality to have business meetings and different brainstorming activities. Currently, we have multiple different companies working in this field, such as Meta, Samsung, Vive, Lenovo, and HP to name a few.

Currently, commercial VR headsets are used by making the user move in real life to interact with the surroundings in VR. But how can it get better? 

In an animated show called “Sword Art Online ''(SAO) there is a device called the “Nerve Gear” which uses the player's brain as the controller. The headset sends its own fake signals to the player's 5 senses and disconnects the real senses temporarily. Allowing the player to play without physically harming the player's real body while playing. The Virtual world is almost indistinguishable from the real world while using the NerveGear. However we are not even close to being able to replicate this technology

Currently, there is a company named Diver X which created a new virtual reality headset that allows the user to play while lying down, instead of the conventional standing, and sitting. But their design for a Half Dive system isn't anywhere close to an actual Half Dive system. Diver X uses a three-core feedback system these include the Wind, force, and Vibration cores. However, Diver-X is not the only company working on the future of virtual reality. Elon Musk and Neuralink are also planning on working on the development of “Full Dive” technology. They have already created and tested their newest design on a monkey, which allowed the monkey to play a game using only its brain. And while Elon did say he is working on Full Dive technology just like in SAO, it might be a while before we hear any new announcements.

A Must-Watch Show Right Now

                   If you are looking for a show to binge-watch at home when you have nothing to do, start watching How To Get Away With Murder. It's a really good and entertaining show. It's an American legal thriller television series that premiered on ABC on September 25, 2014. There are 6 seasons. The main star in this show is Viola Davis. Other stars are Jack Falahee, Aja Naomi King, Liza Well, Matt McGorry, Karla Souza, and more….This is a rated R show so I believe you should watch it for people 15+. This show will keep you wondering, confused, surprised, emotional, and suspenseful. How To Get Away With Murder is about this woman, Annalise Keating, who’s one of the best lawyers because she fights for our broken justice system. Some twists happen in between but it's the best. The show takes place mostly in the courtroom of Pennsylvania.   

      How To Get Away With Murder will make you rethink your life in the real world. Maybe it’ll even make you want to change majors if you are a college student watching this. I know the title might make you think it's crazy except and it is but it's a good crazy. You should watch this show because it's the best, especially if you are into criminal justice or into being a lawyer or if you are a lawyer. Even if you aren't into those things, you will still find this show very interesting. I'm personally in love with this show. I'm on the last season of binge-watching it for a good month now. There’s nothing I really found bad about this show. Unless you are a person that is disgusted by blood, then I recommend you don't watch this show. But when I watch this show and watch Annalise Keating in action in the courtroom, it makes me feel so powerful, like maybe I can do that in the future. The way she leads the show is amazing. 

       Netflix has this show available for you. You can watch this show in your free time. In 2015, How To Get Away With Murder won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. They won many other awards such as the NAACP Image Award (2021), People’s Choice Award (2015), GLAAD Media Award (2015), AFI TV Programs of the Year (2014), and more. How To Get Away With Murder will be a show you won't regret watching. Trust me! In conclusion, if you have nothing to do and are trying to find a new show to binge-watch, start watching How To Get Away With Murder.
