Teachers Get Pied for School Trip

By Sabrina Rodrigues

The Virtual Enterprise class once again sponsored the pie in the face raffle on Wednesday, November 22nd.

Teachers were asked to volunteer to take a pie in the face to raise money for the school trip to Virginia.

"This year was better in terms of teacher participation with 24 teachers up from last year's 12, including some from administrative team," said teacher Mr. Silberman.

Students then put in for a chance to pie a teacher of their choosing. The winning students got the opportunity to hit the selected teacher.
Even those who did not win the raffle enjoyed watching as the teachers were pied in the face.

Each raffle purchased help to fund the Virginia trip for the Virtual Enterprise students. This fundraiser is especially entertaining because it involves everyone throughout the school.
According to Silberman, the event raised $563.

Being able to participate in the contest was such a fun experience that both teachers and students snapped pictures and videos every lunch period.
