Gourmet Breakfast Competition

 By: Sophia Garrido

This week in cooking we made breakfast with our own little twist. Each person in our group helped out to make this delicious dish. We combined the idea of a sweet and savory breakfast with eggs, turkey bacon and crepes. It took us three days to prepare. We first started off with preparing the recipe for the crepes. We tried to find the best crepe recipe. Then the second day we cooked the crepes and made it look perfect. Lastly on the last day we prepared the plates and cooked the eggs and ham. We collaborated together to make the best dish out of the whole class. I felt like we got to connect a  little more with one another because we each had to decide what to make instead of following a specific recipe and we got to see what each of us liked and disliked. I’m so grateful that my group won because we worked very hard to achieve that goal.

Prom Fashion Show 2022

 By: Kishan Johnson

As a sophomore seeing the annual senior fashion show for the first time was a great experience! The event certainly exceeded my expectations, it was thrilling to see my fellow senior peers take part in this. I enjoyed listening to the music and cheering on the models as they walked the red carpet. Even after the fashion show was over it was still exciting to talk about the outfits that were modeled. It was also heartwarming to see the dedication given to Amanda Arguinzoni, her siblings walked the stage and the audience gave the most touching round of applause. The fashion show was definitely an extraordinary experience, I can gladly say that I do not regret attending it.
