The Junior Varsity Basketball team coached by Mr.Senia started their season on Tuesday, December 5th against Valley Stream North.
With an almost all-new team, this year will require some rebuilding and a lot of practice.
The players on the team include Brian Pierre Louis, Kalobe Threewitts, Marques Valme, Jalen Jean, and David Cadet.
They practice four times a week for about two hours in the high school gym. Some positions include point guards, forwards, centers and shooters.
There is a maximum of five players on the court. Each quarter is about 12 minutes long. The boys have been working very hard and very late, so come out and support the boys' basketball team this season. Good luck boys!
