Dedication For A Lost One

On the 18th of June 2018 A rapper was violently murdered in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Jahseh Onfroy, Aka XXXTentacion was by himself in the driver's seat of his car when he was shot multiple times by two men. His murder shocked the world, especially his close friend, singer Billie Ellish.

 Billie Ellish is a 17 year old singer whose fame is growing more rapidly every week. She was one of Jahseh’s close friends, they always hung out when they had the chance since they were both out on tour. The day of Jahseh’s death Billie posted a video of herself crying on Instagram.

During her concert on October 20th 2018, Billie and her brother Finneas sung an unreleased song dedicated to Jahseh about his death. This song was named 6.18.18 (XXXTentacion tribute). As she sung this song during many concerts Billie never failed to breakdown and cry. She was always comforted by her fans and her brother Finneas.

In 6.18.18 the lyrics mention that she is aware that her friend is dead and she has accepted the fact that all her love can't bring him back to life. Billie is disappointed that she didn't get a chance to say goodbye. 

If you listen to the song you can actually hear the heartbreak in her voice. She has moved many young people with her music. I hope she will continue to spread her joy and awareness about things in her life. Her message is about how tragedy can happen to anyone, so you better appreciate the people you have in your life.
