Call Of Duty, Game Of The Year?

By Ronald Morales, senior reporter

When you think of a first-person shooter game
the first thing that comes into most teens’ mind
is the franchise of Call Of Duty

Call of Duty has been producing video games for the past decade and entertaining teens globally. They started their campaign in 2003 when they released their first title.

Since then it has been nothing but upgrades from aspects to the game like graphics, gameplay mechanics, and new features being implemented.

This years’ title, Call of Duty: World War II is one of the best selling of the series because of how much content it brings to the consumer.
The game itself contains three modes that you can play in, zombies, campaign, and multiplayer. I first played the campaign to get a feel for it, and at first sight, the game is gorgeous, starting with the graphics. This is the most realistic Call of Duty that I have played in and it feels as if I’m surrounded in the atmosphere.

The graphics are very high quality you can see every detail of the environment and every detail on each character, down to the last freckle. As per gameplay mechanics, the game runs very well and each new mission brings more and more. The community has been asking for “boots on the ground” and they finally got it. The most recent Call of Duty games have been set in the future and with jetpacks and futuristic setting no one particularly liked.

The game also consists of 2 other game modes that both have multiplayer capabilities called multiplayer, where you can do live matches against other players around the world, and zombies, where you team up with three other players to complete missions and fight against endless waves of zombies to complete the game.

Both these versions are tons of fun and never get boring. This is the real reason why the players purchase the game, to enjoy and have fun with their friends. Call of Duty is a franchise meant to bring people together to play and have fun.

Overall the game is very well made and I have no complaints except in the zombies mode of the  game where it can get boring after  a while.  Other than that one small complaint, I highly recommend this game to everybody, you will truly enjoy this game from its beautiful scenery to its riveting story, and its gory and fun game mechanics.

I give this game a 9.7 out of 10, it’s a true gaming experience.
